Leeds Flamenco Pena

The next Leeds Peña will be 20th September in La Tasca starting at 8pm. There will be an entrance fee of £3.00.

Thee will be a guitar workshop before the Peña at 7pm, on playing Solea for Dance.

1.00pm - 2.30pm Beginners Flamenco Dance (Por Tangos) £20

2.30pm - 3.30pm Flamenco technique & body expression for all£15 (or £12.00 if booked with Beginners or Intermediate Flamenco Dance Class)

3.30pm - 5.00pm Intermediate Flamenco Dance (Por Solea) £20

Ana started dancing at an early age at her home town, Valdepenas, La Mancha. Ana studied Ballet, Classical Spanish, Contemporary and Flamenco. Soon she discovered she wanted to specialise in Flamenco so travelled to study in Madrid, Seville and Jerez to be able to learn with the great teachers and dancers at the time. Ana has been teaching, performing and choreographing in England for over a decade. Ana was one of the directors and dancers of Alma Flamenco Dance Company. Ana teaches regularly at the prestigious Elmhurst ballet School in Birmingham. Ana has studied with great artists like Eva la Yerbabuena, Belen Maya, Rafaela Carrasco, El Ciro, Adrian Galia, to name but a few. At the moment Ana works internationally as an Opera and Theatre choreographer.
